In 60 seconds - Why should you support us?

Why should you do anything?

This is a humanitarian question. Love your neighbour as thyself. This is the founding principle of Christianity and can be found imperatively in other world religions or in Kant’s imperative. You can do something for our neighbours in Malawi.

Why Malawi?

According to per capita income Malawi is the poorest country in the world. More than half of the population survives on barely one dollar per day. The HIV rate comprises 20% and is continuously increasing. The average life expectancy is 40 years and is on the decline. Malawi has one of the highest infant mortality rates in the world.

What does sustainable development assistance mean?

Education - above all health education, family planning and women emancipation. The problems of overpopulation, poverty and the HIV-pandemic can only be solved through education, development and women emancipation.

Why choose our project?

The project is initiated by 30 young African and non-African members and aims to medically train 150 midwives from Malawi with the help of well educated Malawian doctors and nurses. These midwives represent the central source of information with regards to medical questions in the Malawian countryside. They will be trained in prenatal and postnatal care provision, as well in the sphere of HIV-prevention and family planning. The medical infrastructure of Malawi will, thus, be strengthened. Malawians will get a chance to live in Malawi.

What do we need?

We need 50.000 Euros. Every donated euro will quadruple through a grant by the German government. No money will stay in Germany or will be paid to Germans. Everything will be for Malawi. Every Euro counts!

If you want to accomplish something good, support our project. It is up to you!
